I'm trying to find an airplane ticket on Continental.com and it's proving nearly impossible to find a good flight at a reasonable price. They're wanting at least $500 to fly to Alabama, and weird assed connecting flights in HOUSTON or NEW YORK. -_-; I've got so much money tied up in Continental from the original booking and one re-booking, it's not funny, and they won't refund me the money because it's a "non-refundable" fare. It's bullshit, god damn it.

I'm seriously tempted to take one semester off from college, and work 70 hours a week for 4 months, just to make a very significant dent in my credit card debt. Except that would require his parents to look after Olivia for 5 days, instead of just 2 (like it is now). They run a business out of their home, so in a way i'm inconveniencing them enough as it is with 2 days a week (although I'm sure they do love time with her). I can't find anything that would be a big seller on eBay, so I can't do that for extra $$$. :(

Southwest offers airfare for $200 or so, I know there are cheaper fares. :) And better routes.

I could drive, which would be hands-down cheaper, but it would also take 12 hours. =P

Except I reaaaaaaally need to use this old ticket from Continental (which I could use for my December trip to Canada, but would be more inconvenient, because i'm going with my mom and would rather be on the same flight with her, and she flies Northwest :P). :(

None of this would be a problem if they would just refund my money, despite it being "non-refundable".
