It's indeed a small world, after all [Apr. 22nd, 2006|03:24 pm]
After living here for almost two years, there's someone that I was finally able to hang out with last night. Well, I have before (with others), but this friendship shows some promise, compared to the one other girl that went nowhere.

I went out with Brittany and her girlfriend (very awesome people) last night, when the stars (schedules) aligned in such a way we could finally meet up. (Things will be easier once I change my work schedule in a couple weeks.) To tell the truth, she was some random person who messaged me on MySpace. LOL For some reason I didn't flag her as spam or deny her, like I do with everyone else. Anyhoo, long story very short, here we are now.

We went out to an eatery/bar named Jetsetters in Lake Worth... I ended up running into someone who recognized me from Publix, and a couple people who I have an English class with. Later, we went to a gay "club" called Amore's about a mile down the road, and ran into another person who I've seen at Publix before, geez. LOL ;) That alone is what stood out from the entire night.

I had a lot of fun though. It was sooo nice to get out. Brittany's girlfriend Maria was probably thinking "Damn what a loser, someone who never goes out!" hahaha I'm joking around. It's also nice when people return your calls and actually make an effort themselves to do something with you (I've been burned too many times like that). Still, despite the fun night yesterday, I'm kinda glad to not do anything else this weekend. I need to get used to going out again, LOL.

Am I the only person who writes about these kinds of things? XD

I've only recently started being social again, too. It does take some getting-back-in-the-groove. It's like "Whoa, I don't remember how to do this"

I write about that sort of stuff too, so don't feel bad :x
