|A milestone for Olivia, and beginning a new job

Well, knowing that babies don't actually know what they're saying (it's just sounds experimentation rather than knowing a word)...|
Olivia said "da-da" this morning.
Now Hsiaokwai's trying to get her to say "ba-ba" (Chinese for dad) instead of da-da... but i'm trying to tell him that she's just trying out new sounds... that she doesn't know what she's saying.
Today is my first day of work at Publix. I'll be training my first few times at work, at least.
And Hsiaokwai has to get MRIs and physical therapy for his back, that he injured a few weeks ago at work. He likes to sound doomsday-ish, as in "Ohhh I'm gonna have to leave work and go on disability, wahhh... well, I'll be a stay-at-home dad, so that's okay...!!". ~_~;; No, it's not.. as if that *were* the case, i'd have to work two full-time jobs to near his current income. And I'd hardly if ever see them. :( A situation like this would totally upheave my life and the plans I have (school, paying off debt, regaining license, etc).
He's falling apart on me.
