None of this matters, since Bank of America just approved me for a $5500 card. ^^;; Definitely no more credit-card applying for a long time...

So, several days ago I received an email from Paypal, advertising a "Pre-approved Paypal Visa Credit Card". I applied, waiting several anxious days (3-ish weeks), when I finally receive an envelope from them (no card included, though).

I got declined, simply because they couldn't verify information provided on the application. Not because I didn't meet (or continue to) their requirements, but because of that.

Luckily, their "decision won't be reported" to the credit bureaus. Meaning, no inquiry from Providian will show up on my credit report, thankfully.

But still, that bursts my bubble. :\
